BEHAVIORAL SLEEP MEDICINE.jpg

Sleep disorders such as insomnia have a significant impact on our lives, but have been shown to be highly, successfully treatable with techniques such as CBT-I (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy).  Unfortunately medications used to target insomnia often fail to produce long term benefits. Understanding the physiology, and psychology of sleep is essential to treatment of behavioral sleep disorders.  Major sleep disorders in which I am proficient include treatment of adults, teens and children with insomnia, circadian rhythm disorder, CPAP adherence, behavioral management of sleep walking, and nightmares.
